We are on the road again... We started from Bondi tuesday morning and headed towards Thorsten's place. Once we got the car packed we headed south through west sydney. South of Sydney we drove through Royal National Park. We continued south on the Princess Highway until we reached Kiama where we stopped for the night.

In Kiama there is a so-called blowhole where the waves are supposed to be "blown" up to 60 m. up in the air. There was not a single wave or blow when we were there though:( From Kiama we continued down the Princess Hwy to Bawleys Point. We reached Bawley pretty late so after a swim in the ocean it was getting dark and time for reading and cards. From Bawley we continued through Batemans Bay and Bega until we reached Tathra where we stayeed for the night.

We got there early so we had time for a long body boarding session and some relaxation at the pool. After that it was good with a Thorsten special for dinner. We stayed antoher night in Tathra and had dinner at the old wharf.

From Tathra we headed inland towards the Snowy Mountains (aka the Snowies). In the Snowies we wanted to climb the highest mountain in Australia, namely Mount Kosciuszko. At 2.228 meters it sounds like an impossible task for "plain" travellers like us. It turned out that it was more like a steep walk than an actual climb.

Having conquored Kosciuszko we took the Bary Way south towards the coast. On the map it was a pretty straight road and the distance to the coast was not that bad. It turned out that a LOT of unsealed and winding road lay ahead...
