The third day at Fraser was pure relaxation. In the morning we went to Lake McKenzie. Lake McKenzie has the most clear blue water i have ever seen in a lake. It is said to be so clean that no or little fish can live there. Paired with the fine white silica sand this has to be one of the most beautiful places i have ever been...

After Lake McKenzie we continued to Lake Wabby. In contrast to McKenzie, Wabby had less clear and green water. There was more life in this lake as many fish could be seen.

After Lake Wabby we went back to Central again for the night.

We spent the last day driving an inland route that went past a few more lakes on the way south towards the ferry at Moon Point. The ferry arrives near Rainbow Beach. We went there inflate the tyres again as we were not doing more 4WD driving for a while...

It was a bit sad to leave Fraser Island but it was great and we still have the good memories.
